Deltec's innovative TC-PRO (Twin chamber) range of external protein skimmers featuring Deltec's high performance pump with class leading energy to air ratio.
For over 25 years Deltec GMBH have worked hard to develop the best specialist marine aquarium equipment available on the market. They are known throughout the world for the high performance and quality of their protein skimmers. When their patent on the Deltec Pinwheel ran out it opened the market for other people to copy their ideas and to produce pinwheels of their own but without the 25+ years of experience and development that had gone into the Deltec products.
The latest generations of Deltec protein skimmers have been developed to produce the optimum air to water ratio in the reaction chamber for the lowest possible power consumption.
The TC name describes the special Twin Chamber design of the bubble chamber which is patented and has the benefit of pressurizing the pumps for higher performance and ensures that only unskimmed water passes through the pump rather than reskimming and reprocessing water in the chamber.
The bubble plate design allows the height of the skimmers to be reduced and allow them to fit in a cabinet. The primary use of the bubble chamber is to prevent turbulence from the skimmer body and neck as turbulence can pull waste loaded bubbles back into the water column causing a reduction in efficiency. The air to water ratio is so high that there is almost immediate reaction with the waste therefore there is no requirement for the tall reaction chambers found on some low air skimmers thus keeping the units compact.

Quarantine
UNPARALLEDED QUARANTINE PROCESS
Our comprehensive quarantine process utilizes a powerful combination of copper, prazi, formalin, and antibiotics to tackle even the most stubborn diseases. This rigorous treatment ensures our fish are free from common ailments like Ich, Velvet, Blackspot, Brooklyenella, Flukes, Tapeworm, Uronema, and Vibrio, which other treatments like TTM and hypo may not cover.
Fish are fed 3x a day and will be transferred to a sterile system with UV for their remaining stay.
Tangs are treated more strictly with quarantine and will hold any fish for longer if symptoms are still displayed.
2 WEEKS
Two weeks is just a minimum, you are welcome to quarantine further if you wish. As most of the work is already done for you, rest assured that the fish received from REEF HAVEN AQUARIUM are very healthy.
PLEASE NOTE: We DO NOT guarantee 100% parasite free fish. We still recommend that you quarantine regardless, but the time taken to do so may be a lot less than usual. If you purchase fish that have not been quarantined, they may still be a carrier for parasites. Parasites can lay dormant in your tank until a new stressed fish is introduced. Corals & inverts may also introduce disease if coming from parasite infested waters. Natural sea water WILL introduce parasites.
ERROR-FREE MEDICATION
Our medication process is handled by a single expert, Hazel, guaranteeing zero room for error. This personalized care ensures our fish receive the precise treatment they need, without the risk of human error that can occur with multiple handlers.
HEALTH STANDARD, NOT EXTRA COST
At REEF HAVEN AQUARIUM, we believe healthy fish should be the norm, not an added expense. That's why we incorporate our quarantine service as a standard health practice for all our fish, at no extra cost to you.
SUSTAINABLE AQUATIC PRACTICES
We're committed to responsible and sustainable aquatic practices, ensuring our operations have a minimal impact on the environment. Our goal is to provide healthy fish, minimal or no death, while promoting a healthy planet.
