Neptune Systems DŌS Dual Reservoir (DDR) - Stylish Smart Storage System
Intelligent Fluid Containment for Precision Dosing
The Neptune Systems DŌS Dual Reservoir (DDR) combines elegant design with smart monitoring, offering a sophisticated and practical solution for storing your aquarium dosing fluids. This attractive system seamlessly integrates with your Neptune Systems DŌS, providing critical alerts when fluid levels are low, ensuring uninterrupted dosing for your reef.
Key Features & Benefits:
- Stylish & Functional Design: The DDR boasts an elegant cast-acrylic construction that enhances the aesthetics of any equipment room, proving that style can indeed meet function.
- Deceiving Capacity: Each side of the reservoir holds a generous 2 litres (2000 ml) of fluid, providing a total capacity of 4 litres. For most saltwater aquariums dosing Calcium and Alkalinity, this volume is ample to last at least two weeks, while other additives could last for months before a refill is needed.
- Intelligent Fluid Monitoring: Equipped with integrated optical sensors that alert your Apex controller when the fluid level in either side reaches approximately 20% remaining, preventing dosing interruptions.
- Direct DŌS Connection: Uniquely designed to connect electrically directly to your DŌS, eliminating messy wires, loose float switches, and simplifying setup. Just plug it in, and it appears on your Apex Fusion Dashboard.
- Low Centre of Gravity Design: Engineered to have a low centre of gravity, making it exceptionally difficult to inadvertently tip over, safeguarding your equipment area from spills and potential damage.
- Easy Refilling: Features convenient, easy-lift lids for simple and quick refilling, minimizing fuss during maintenance.
- Push-Fit Tubing Connections: Ensures secure and leak-free connections for your dosing lines.
- Versatile Application: Ideal for storing 2-part solutions (Alkalinity/Calcium), various additives, and other essential aquarium fluids.
Connects to Your DŌS
The DDR is the only dosing container on the market that connects electrically to your DŌS and uses optical sensors that alert you when your fluid has approximately 20% remaining. This alert could be used to send you a text or an email, or even trigger other events on your Apex. Also, when detecting water level, optical sensors are far less likely to fail than their float switch counterparts.
Optical Sensor Alerts
One simple connection links the DDR to the DŌS. No worries about fooling around with loose wires, float switches, etc. Just plug it in and it will show up in your Apex Fusion Dashboard.
Seamless Integration with Your Apex Ecosystem:
Although not strictly required for basic use, the DDR interfaces directly into your Apex Fusion dashboard. This allows you to see real-time fluid levels at a glance and receive immediate alarms when a reservoir runs low, ensuring you're always informed and can react promptly.
Built to Last with Thoughtful Design:
Beyond its aesthetic appeal, the DDR is constructed from strong, durable cast-acrylic, ensuring longevity in demanding aquarium environments. Its thoughtful design prioritizes both form and critical function for the discerning aquarist.
Important Fluid Compatibility Notice:
While the DŌS Dual Reservoir (DDR) is compatible with the majority of common additives used in aquariums, certain fluids can cause damage to acrylic or plastics.
DO NOT fill the DDR with:
- Solvents or fluids containing solvents
- Methanol, or fluids containing methanol (e.g., RedSea NO3-PO4-X)
- Ethyl alcohol
- Other fluids that may be reactive with acrylic or plastics.
If you are in doubt about the compatibility of a fluid with acrylic or plastics, please contact the manufacturer of the fluid.
Recommendation for Incompatible Fluids: If you dose additives incompatible with acrylic, we strongly recommend keeping them in their original containers and placing the DŌS intake tubing directly into that container for dispensing.

Quarantine
UNPARALLEDED QUARANTINE PROCESS
Our comprehensive quarantine process utilizes a powerful combination of copper, prazi, formalin, and antibiotics to tackle even the most stubborn diseases. This rigorous treatment ensures our fish are free from common ailments like Ich, Velvet, Blackspot, Brooklyenella, Flukes, Tapeworm, Uronema, and Vibrio, which other treatments like TTM and hypo may not cover.
Fish are fed 3x a day and will be transferred to a sterile system with UV for their remaining stay.
Tangs are treated more strictly with quarantine and will hold any fish for longer if symptoms are still displayed.
2 WEEKS
Two weeks is just a minimum, you are welcome to quarantine further if you wish. As most of the work is already done for you, rest assured that the fish received from REEF HAVEN AQUARIUM are very healthy.
PLEASE NOTE: We DO NOT guarantee 100% parasite free fish. We still recommend that you quarantine regardless, but the time taken to do so may be a lot less than usual. If you purchase fish that have not been quarantined, they may still be a carrier for parasites. Parasites can lay dormant in your tank until a new stressed fish is introduced. Corals & inverts may also introduce disease if coming from parasite infested waters. Natural sea water WILL introduce parasites.
ERROR-FREE MEDICATION
Our medication process is handled by a single expert, Hazel, guaranteeing zero room for error. This personalized care ensures our fish receive the precise treatment they need, without the risk of human error that can occur with multiple handlers.
HEALTH STANDARD, NOT EXTRA COST
At REEF HAVEN AQUARIUM, we believe healthy fish should be the norm, not an added expense. That's why we incorporate our quarantine service as a standard health practice for all our fish, at no extra cost to you.
SUSTAINABLE AQUATIC PRACTICES
We're committed to responsible and sustainable aquatic practices, ensuring our operations have a minimal impact on the environment. Our goal is to provide healthy fish, minimal or no death, while promoting a healthy planet.
